2023 Harvest Release
A New Era at Soliste Begins
GRENACHE
[Jump to ordering information]
This Year, a new Cepage will join the Soliste family, Grenache. From a stunning vineyard in Mendocino county, homesteaded in the 1880s, Certified Organic and dry farmed. We have long admired and enjoyed the wines of Chateau Rayas -- coined the Grand Cru Burgundy of The Rhone -- elegant aromatic, exotic, and of incredible texture.
This last wet winter has helped replenish the aquifers and we have renewed hope for a great harvest season. Climatic changes are making us take notice of the challenges ahead and Pinot Noir being the most delicate grape is the canary in the coal mine as far as the future of winemaking in our backyard. Rhone varietals are more suited to wild temperature swings and drought, so, we are adapting and very excited to bring a new sibling to the Soliste family and look forward to sharing it with you soon.
To celebrate this year's new arrival and harvest, we have assembled three selections of our most celebrated wines for you to enjoy with family and friends this fall.
Selection One: Restaurant Favorites
Our dream for Soliste is to craft wines served at our favorite restaurants. Here is a selection of wines featured on wine lists and poured by our sommelier friends:
Two bottles of each wine, six total.
Selection Two: Collector’s Choice
Vertical of L’Ambroisie MonoClone Pinot Noir
If L’Espérance is the most feminine, ethereal Pinot Noir that we produce, L’Ambroisie is the most masculine and enigmatic. Born from a legendary clone of great pedigree and situated on an amazing site in the middle of giant redwood trees. The wine density and concentration as well as its origins have created many debates and conversations around the tables of our friends. L’Ambroisie possesses all of the great qualities and is reminiscent of the legends from Vosnes-Romanée.
L'Ambroisie has become our most sought-after wine – all previous vintages sold out quickly.
- 2015 L'Ambroisie MonoClone Pinot Noir
- 2016 L'Ambroisie MonoClone Pinot Noir
- 2017 L'Ambroisie MonoClone Pinot Noir
Two bottles of each MonoClone wine, six total.
Selection Three: Grande Reserve
As our story goes, the name Soliste comes from the special single barrel the Burgundian vigneron reserves for friends and family. Our single barrel wines represent the promise and journey that is Soliste.

- 2012 La Sauvage, Syrah, Aged for 4 years in French Oak
